Catalyst 11

Friday 23 January 2015

CATALYSTS ARE DUE TODAY! After you finish your catalyst, turn your journal in to Ms. Powell.

Answer questions 1-3 in complete sentences.

1. How do you feel about the MFL program and the way this class is structured/the way you’re working during MFL time?

2. Take a look at the reflection questionnaire we filled out last week. What quality do you want to work on improving the most? Why?

3. What is one thing you are proud of accomplishing or learning this week? Write about one thing from this class and one thing from outside of class.

4. PLUS DELTA CHART: create a “t chart” (like the picture below) in your catalyst journal. The left hand sign has a plus sign ( + ) while the right hand sign is a triangle, which is called a delta. The delta is the Greek symbol for change.

Underneath the “+” sign, identify what you feel like you’re learning, what is helping you in this class, things done well this week, etc. (see the chart below for an example).

Underneath the delta, identify things you feel could use improvement, whether that’s your own actions, Ms. Powell’s, the MFL site, or this class. (see the chart below for an example).

You should list at least three things on each side.
