PLUS DELTA CHART: create a “t chart” (like the picture below) in your catalyst journal. The left hand sign has a plus sign ( + ) while the right hand sign is a triangle, which is called a delta. The delta is the Greek symbol for change.

Underneath the “+” sign, identify what you feel like you’re learning, what is helping you in this class, things done well this week, etc.

Underneath the delta, put things you want to improve on, things you want Ms. Powell to improve on, or something you would change about the class.

C. Describe a memorable event, positive or negative, and how it felt to you, but do not name the feeling. Instead, tell how it felt in your body (damp hands, metallic taste, tight throat, wobbly knees, etc.).

What are your greatest accomplishments in your life so far? “List all of the moments that you are proud of as well as the times that you’ve succeeded. To have accomplished these, you would have used some of your key strengths. See if you can identify why you succeeded. Also, list any activities, hobbies, or anything else that you do that you complete with ease. Within these lie greatest strengths.”
